Baked Maple Brie with Pecans and Cranberries
Not only is this a seriously delicious pre-dinner snack, it’s also so pretty and festive looking – perfect for the holidays. My lovely friend made this a couple years ago and it immediately jumped onto my must-make-list. This is something I’ll make time and time again. Don’t you just love recipes like this?
Ingredients:
Round wheel of Brie cheese (it’s really good so go for the largest size)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup pecans
1/4 dried cranberries
Place the brie in the center of a shallow baking dish or ceramic pie plate. In a small bowl, mix well the maple syrup and brown sugar. Spread the pecans and cranberries over and around the brie and finish off by drizzling the syrup/sugar mixture on top. Bake at 325 for about 20 minutes. Please make this! Enjoy!

Oh man, that looks soooooo good! You know, I’ve been dreaming about making this dish lately. I’m stuck working overnight tonight and I could really go for a treat like this right about now!!

This looks so wonderful. Perfect for a party. I’m definitely adding this to my ‘to make’ list! Glad you had fun in Boston too!! Did you take those night pics? They are beautiful!
Yep, I took those pics, and I’ve got tons more to post. Boston was sooo lovely!
I made this last night and it was a huge hit! My only comment is to watch the cooking time depending on your oven. Mine is a little hotter so I should have cooked it for about 5 mins less. I will definitely make this again, everyone asked for the recipe as they too want to make it.
I’ve had this before but baked in phyllo pastry – It was a huge hit – I can’t wait to try this baked inside a phyllo crust then you cut it open to serve – Thanks for the recipe!
quebec way to do it : boil your maple syrup until you get a nice foaming syrup, it will turm your syrup to taffy. do not add brown sugar, the taffy will be sweet enough, and thick enough. Regalez-vous!
The recipe is fabulous and sooo easy! Also made it with black walnuts and it was even better!! Making it again for New Years!
This sounds absolutely delicious!!
