Banana Bread

I’ve been making this recipe since I was about ten years old. It’s my dad’s favorite and I would make it for him on almost a weekly basis. Even with ‘pregnancy brain’, this recipe is engrained in my memory.

1/2 cup of soft butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
4 tbsp of milk
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of baking soda
1/4 tsp of salt
1 3/4 cup of flour
2 ripe bananas (mashed)
1 tsp vanilla

Cream the butter, sugar and eggs. Add milk, followed by the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl combine mashed bananas and vanilla. Mix the banana mixture into the bread mixture and voila you’re done! Grease a bread pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!
